I should have titled this piece, "Baseball in Butte" because I always get asked where this park is. The Butte Copper Kings were a class A baseball team that played in the historic mining town of Butte, Montana. This was the best seat not at the ballpark. From this hill high above the 3rd baseline you could watch both the game and the brilliant sunset over the rocky mountains.
